Julian Market closed, for now

Julian Market near Palermo has been shut, at least temporarily. A sign on the building says the county environmental services department closed the market and the adjoining car repair garage because the building isn't safe. Miss Penny Lane says: Oh, well.

    This is/was the biggest eyesore in the neighborhood! That corner needs to be cleaned up!

    The city plans to bull doze all that area as part of a redevelopment plan.
