Palermo nicknames, please

Positively Palermo has been asked for the various nicknames that residents use to describe places in the community, such as "the back 40" for the undeveloped area. Please e-mail them. Miss Penny Lane says: Her nickname for Palermo is Paradise in the Desert.

    8:01 that's a great idea!!! How about using 7:29's name and call the street Nirvana.

    Good idea! Enterprise Way sounds like an industrial park. How about Strawberry Fields or Abbey Road?

    I once heard someone call it Gayberry RFD...in jest and I liked that.. I tell friends I live in the Village of Palermo. We are alovely community filled with many many great spirited people, who truly care and e look out for each other. It is this sense of community that make me love being a resident in our quaint little village.
