The Desert Sun's Web site is reporting this morning: "Indian Canyon is closed from Tramview Road to the I-10 Freeway due to a broken levee, according to the Palm Springs Police. The department received a call from the Coachella Valley Water District just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday advising that a levee broke and a large amount of water from snow melt was flowing across Indian Canyon Drive at the wash." Miss Penny Lane says: She won't be heading north to the 10 today anyway, because with a high forecast of 84 today, she only will be going to Walgreen's to buy sun screen for her date at the Palermo big pool.
yesterday there was a record temp of 89 - it was too much for the snow melt and flooded the wash
