Clubhouse pool table gets some rehab

Good news to share. A resident informs Positively Palermo that repairmen have replaced the clubhouse pool table's felt. There also are new pool sticks and balls. Thanks to the HOA for getting this done after a resident raised concerns about damage to the felt. A Palermo Palm Springs pool tournament may be in order to inaugurate our spruced-up table. Miss Penny Lane says: She's game, if one of those burly guys from the Quiet Side one evening would spend some time helping improve her technique.

YEA.. this is Perry, did someone say pool tournament? Im in, I stink but i'm in :) A few people I know here said they wanted to get something started. I say, lets do this thing!
Village Property should have paid for the new felt and stick as it was the kids who lived on Penny Lane who damaged the table and broke the sticks.
Probabally, but proving it is a different story. I know that every penny counts but I don't think the cost on the table was much. Felt does go bad after a while just under normal play. When we had a table we had to change it every few years. Like Penny and Perry said, maybe we should start a fun tournement and at least get our monies worth.
The pool tourney is at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 16. Sign up in the clubhouse.
