Signs on the mailboxes
Interesting notice was taped to the mailboxes at Palermo Palm Springs this week, saying that the bank's rental company will be holding sessions in the clubhouse every week for tenants who have work orders or other problems. It appears that this must be in response to the HOA asking for increased oversight, a point discussed at a prior board meeting and said at that meeting to be in Palermo's agreement with the bank over the future of the old Enterprise units/land. More progress. Miss Penny Lane says: She was hoping the sign was about a pool party to help her cool offing this heat.

Chalk it up to another improvement by the hoa board. Good job.
Needed. Necessary. Thanks HOA.
I think there is a miss understanding here. This has nothing to do with regulating or oversight of the renters. This is nothing more than the bank wanting to have someone on sight to show the the units. It is also where the renters can go to put in a work order. Glad to say this has nothing to do with renter or owner bashing.
Glad the bank is apparently stepping in after this time to provide this service to us.
A positive step forward.
Nice step ahead. Many thanks to the HOA board members, as a renter we needed this after not getting right service.
I'm a happy camper at Palermo.
How can Village Property run a rental buisness out of our non profit clubhouse? I just seen the posting and was very alarmed. Why are they not using one of there units. Can I run my realistate office our of there also.
VPM is there on the banks request (the owners) My understanding is that if there is under 6 people there you can use the club house with no fees or permission. IF you think aobut it the bank ownes 30 plus units here. I would think they have just as much of a right to hold meetings there for the tennets as much as the HOA can be there to conduct their business. It is just nice to see the place used instead of collecting dust. Even if the club house gets titled to the HOA the bank would still be part of it, thus they can use as long as there are less than six people. If you think you can run your business threw there under certian conditions I would stand behind you as your right to be there. You might want to check it out for your self. IF they say NO, then you do have some recourse. GOOD LUCK :)
Read the CC&Rs since they say no ongoing regularly scheduled meetings are allowed. enuf said.
to the 6:27 coment. By your rule then the HOA should not be able to meet there since it is done on a regular basis. So, if they HOA is doing that for the owners why would it bother people that the renters cant get the same consideration. You have to remeber, even though the bank pays the HOA dues, it is still added to the renters rent, so in a way they are contributing. I think this should be a live and let lve situation
I agree with 8:55 coment. We have to live and let live here
to the 6:27 coment. IF it is bothering you so much mabye you should go there Wed and tell the bank that they have no right to be there and your upset aobut. Then the HOA should have a meeting with the bank and agian inforce the rules. Chatting on her is not going to solve the issue. Once again if names had to be attached to the people that have a gripe, no one wold say anything. The HOA board should call the new owners and let them know the HOA is in charge not them. That would teach the bank a lesson. Come to think of it, does the bank hold the title to the club house? My understanding was the the bank owned the club hous and it was not in our name. Is that correct?
To 113), if chatting on "her" is not going to anything then why are you putting in your 2 cents here all time. It looks like from the content and bad grammar that most of these last postings are from the same guy.
I love the community involvement and cool spirit found on this blog site; I got turned onto Palermo thru a friend and reading the good stuff made me decide to rent a place at Palermo. Glad to be your neighbor. Penny Lane, can I buy ya a drink? thanks
