Love the new streets....tired of speeding cars on Sunburst. My opinion, we need speed bumps.
Speed bump cause more accidents and damage cars.
Hmm, speed bumps cause accidents and damage cars??? I guess if you go over them at 40 mph they might. Are you one the small number of inconsiderate residents who drive too fast?
Given our streets are narrow, most do not have sidewalks, and a lot of people walk the neighborhood, 15mph seems like a reasonable speed limit. Perhaps HOA should implement/enforce that.
Speed bumps, what a stupid idea. Nanny state.
HOA board listen to the residents who say NO to the bumpies. We do not want them!! The board must be responsive to those who live être. NO!
No speed bumps. My car was wrecked by one when going 15 mph and I nearly ran off the road and hit a house.
Yes let's just wait and see if a child is run over before any decision on speed bumps. After all we know better than every HOA in the Valley.
Yes, there are lots of kids running around palermo .. Not. Speed bumps are dangerous themselves. I have never seen anybody speed to warrant such devices, and I have never seen da bumps in another HOA complex here. I have only seen them at a run down apt. Complex. The HOA better not out any bump in front of our place on Sunburst!!!!!
If you are concerned about these hoards of mythical children at Palermo, then talk to the parents if they are allowing the kids to play in the streets to scoot down the streets unaware of the world around them. Me thinks this concern of "the children" is just a ploy get the dumb bumps.
12:51 LOL. Whoever posted this about the kids now has the duty to go talk to any mother or father s/he can fin if s/he is soooo soooo concerned. Talk about making up a problem where there is nothing of concern, then this is it. I am moving if the HOA pouts up those accident-causing bumps.
Pu me down as a NO on speed bumps, because they do not work. I have not witnessed anyone speeding on Sunburst or the QS but if it is happening my bet is that this will stop when all the rentals are outta here.

BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU ASK FOR !!! PALERMO HAS HAD SOME WONDERFUL RENTERS OVER THE YEARS AND BELOVED BY MANY AND THEIR DOGGIES TOO
It will be good for the community at large to get owners into these homes. Myself, little problems with the Developer's renters on average but ahead to the original concept of Palermo being met.
