3.8-magnitude earthquake felt across Palm Springs

We've have a break from the recent round of quakes. But the news is reporting this evening that: "A magnitude 3.8 earthquake hit the Borrego Springs area on Thursday afternoon. There were no reports of damage from the small quake, which struck 22 miles southeast of La Quinta and 31 miles south of Palm Springs. It occurred at 4:56 p.m. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was felt across the Palm Springs area and part of San Diego County." The left-hand column of this Web page has the link to the USGS site.
