And it begins. The first of the unsold homes at Palermo, built by the Enterprise Cos. and then bank-owned and now privately held, have gone on the market today. It was in November of 2010 that the front doors of the 34 units then-owned by the Enterprise Cos. of Chicago were posted with a "Notice of Unified Trustee's Sale." But Palermo has persevered through the years of economic crisis to reach this day with the community ship-shape and ready for the future. Miss Penny Lane says: She's sold on Palermo.

Year in review: Dues are not raised for another year in a row

Continuing Positively Palermo's second annual review of the top happenings at Palermo Palm Springs, No. 2 is that HOA monthly dues again for another year held steady at $294 per month. Miss Penny Lane says: She due for a nice long weekend at Palermo.

Positively Palermo returned home after a week of vacation to see Palermo's brand-new paved streets. Miss Penny Lane says: She gave up dye jobs long ago but these black streets may make her re-think it.
