Light on the Quiet Side & New green fencing on Foothill

For those of you following the postings about the burnt-out lights on the Quiet Side - there now is light. A resident had to resort to putting signs on the lights because management ignored the problem for so so long. It still took at least week to get the bulbs replaced, and that is on top of the time (about a month) they were burnt out before the signs went up. (In other events, on Foothill, workers moved the green fencing closer to the road.) Miss Penny Lane's take: So happy those dearies on the Quiet Side now have light, but it shouldn't require such measures to new bulbs.

Yes, there is LIGHT. We finally have em in. Wonder how many bulbs are out elsewhere.

Does anyone know why there were four cop cars a few weeks ago on Melody Lane? They police had an angry-looking bald dude loaded with tattoos down on the asphalt .... Looked like a scene out of CSI on Melody Lane.

Also, we're glad they put a lock on the gate to the back pool ONCE WE FOUND OUT THAT THE SAME KEY WE ALREADY HAVE FOR THE FRONT POOL GATE WORKS FOR THE BACK GATE. A sign notifying of that fact would have been appreciated. But we like the lock especially because our children visitors and safety.

There are other lights burnt out too.

About the police cars on the lane (comment from April 25). They apparently were called when that guy on Melody would not move this truck after a city fire official asked him to since it was in a fire lane. The city official apparently needed the police to come because of how the guy refused to move his car out of the street. It seems you can thank Michael Heath and Village Property Management for this because they rent to him (a graffiti "artist" supposedly). No exactly what people had in mind when they bought here.

Looks like they fixed the lights at the back pool. Must be reading PP.

Why did they move the fence on Foothill. I had heard that they were going to spruce it up with landscaping. Instead we get the fence to look at.

I heard about planned landscaping too. I guess the fence is green. If 2 foot scrub brush can substitute for palm trees then a fence can serve as landscaping.

LOL. The fence is green. Palermo management version of landscaping. It's terrible that the people on Foothill were misled about the new landscaping.

I live on Foothill. Sure is peacefull over hear!! I love this street! All owners on Foothill! I will take the green fence over unmanageable renters!!

I have a close freind in Chicago who went to high school and worked for the owner of Enterprise. I'm golfing with my buddy and the Enterprise dude in July at Pebble Beach. My buddy tells me they are going to start construction up in the pasture. Not sure if it's true or not? I hope not! It's will mess up our quiet street.

We love Foothill, with every unit owned not rented out. The moving of the fence, putting up of more fencing, and the removal of the furniture and other junk suggests that something is up. But for those on Foothill now it won't be too bad when Phase 2 is built. Only two G-model units (two bedrooms/one story) will be across the street. And the doors/entrances to those 2 units will be on the other streets. Even the carports will be positioned farther away. There will be more traffic, though, because Foothill will be extended into Phase 2, toward San Raphael, with a dozen or so more units and numerous parking spaces (like on Quiet Side right now). We'll be sitting pretty on Foothill. Still, we hate the green fencing. Landscaping was promised. Enterprise must do its best to mitigate the construction impacts (noises, etc.) for residents on Foothill and Enterprise Way as well.

Now they have added a layer of brown dirt/gravel in front of the new fence on Foothill. Does look a little better - but does just dirt qualify as landscaping. Not a plant in sight despite the promise. Are they still coming?
