Bank's 34 condos and undeveloped land, upkeep and local representatives

Questions are being raised about the management of the 34 former "Enterprise" condos now being rented out by MB Bank and the maintenance of the undeveloped property also owned by MB Bank. One recent move-out by bank renters filled the trash dumpster and surrounding area with furniture and had other associated problems that were not corrected. Also on top of all this, as we understand it, the bank used its substantial votes in the January HOA elections, while conversely others in the past have claimed Palermo should not expect any attention from the bank as absentee owners. Miss Penny Lane says: She'd like to plant wild flowers on the undeveloped property and make everyone smile.

May I suggest that at the next HOA meeting someone get the bank contact and phone number. If we all keep calling and bugging them the squeeky wheel will get the grese. I have heard this chat for the two years I have been here yet no one is getting out of the box yet. They say insaine is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. Voicing here might make you feel better but will not solve the problem. I am a renter so there is not much I can do to help other than offer some life experience and hope that helps everyone.

Good thought.

Hello Palermo Residents -
You are welcome to bring your concerns related to the rentals we manage as well as any issues you have with the vacant lot and models at the end of Enterprise Way. There are a few watchful tenants and resident owners that send me emails or call related to common issues, especially related to the vacant lot. Items we have to fix on a regular basis are the sprinkler systems and landscape clean up around the vacant models, the green wind screen that is attached to the fencing (which seems to tatter each week) and trash that blows in over the fence. Please help us help all residents of Palermo by emailing our office or calling when there are issues. A VPM staff member is visiting onsite at least two times a week. Some things we catch and others we do not. Your assistance is always appreciated.
