Plastic fields forever?

Winds have been blowing across Palm Springs for days. But even before that, the trees and bushes of the undeveloped Phase 2 of Palermo had been littered with plastic bags for weeks and weeks. Miss Penny Lane says: Why must drivers exiting through the south gate be greeted by this blight every day?

Why doesn't the landscape guy clean up those bags? I'm so glad someone said something about this because it was driving me crazy.

Plastic was all still there as of Monday.

Has anyone noticed that some plants on the grounds look like they aren't getting enough water? The palms at the entrance and on Breeze need some agua, and so do a bunch of the brush.

gardening is one of my hobbies so I have definately noticed many plants throughout the property getting to little water, this time of the year especially they need to be watered more often and for longer periods as the intense heat form the sun, sucks it right up. Best times to water are early morning or in the evening after the sun has set. This way the water will have time to be absorbed by the plants.

YES! The plants need more watering. Some of the palms look like they might die. I suggest everyone get out front with a hose and water their and their neighbors plants. A good soaking would go a long way. We don't need to wait for DRM to act, or for the plants to wither away.

There were some crews on the undeveloped parcel yesterday. What's up??

Some guys are cleaning it up but the plastic bags are still there. I witnessed one guy cutting a tree and leaving the bags in the tree as he cut it!

bags still there despite the "cleanup"

It's better but still needs work back there. Don't do half a job. Do it right.

Hi everyone! My wife and I are new tenants here at Palermo (262 Breeze Loop). What prompts the comment this morning, is that our cat is lost outside. His name is LT; he is a grey neutered domestic short hair, and should anyone come in contact with him, please call (760) 774-3468.
Thanks,
George & Sue Kurth

Did you find your cat? I have seen a smallish cat running around at nite but it looks a bit more blackish.

... also, you should email Miss Penny if your cat is still missing, as I'm sure she would make a posting out of it. You could email her a photo. Many people read Miss Penny's posting but not all the reader comments. Good luck
