Festival of Lights tonight

Palermo Palm Springs could be on its way to becoming its own Festival of Lights, with all the twinkling decorations popping up in our community. There's a forest of Christmas trees sprouting up in the window of one residence on Sandy Point Trail. (Please e-mail Palermo photos if you have them.) At 5:45 this evening, the 19th annual Festival of Lights Parade starts downtown. The newspaper says 80,000 people are expected. Miss Penny Lane says: She'll be one of them, dancing her way through town as she picks up holiday decorating tips.

Love the tree at Melody and Sandy Point, on the ledge. Also, nice blueish/white lights outside. I travel that corner often and it's nice to see it alive after being dark and lifeless for so long.

Any questions about the painting schedule should be addressed to DRM, Brandi Scott or look at older posts on Positively Palermo pertaining to that subject such as "Wednesday, November 3, 2010 Painting progress"

Let's keep this "Festival of Lights" focused on the festivities. Happy Happy!

I love that the corner area at Sandy and Melody is lit up with joy. Thanks for bringing me some cheer when I drive home in the early evening and it's already dark because of the time change. LOVE THE LIGHTS!!!!

Hello everyone, this is Perry. Im on Sunburst, I just finished decorated the outside today it includes a festive christmas village you can see threw our front window. It has a lot of detail so please feel free to walk up to the window anytime and and take a closer look. It is there for all to enjoy. I would suggest after dark it is the best time to see the many lights, village and the display of 30 toy solders (you can see them trew the 2nd story widow. And I wold like to thank the many residents that decorated. I truley enjoy a festive christmas.
