And modern art amid the rubble, too

Miss Penny missed it, but an alert Positively Palermo devotee points out that not just nature's beauty finds a way flourish in the former construction zone of Phase 2 Palermo. (Thanks for the photographs to the left.) Beyond the wild flowers that Miss Penny loves so much, it's also a site for budding artists of the modern variety. Who knew that Palermo had such talent within its walls? The wind apparently has blown down the latest art. But Miss Penny Lane asks: Should we all go out together and create some modern art from the rubble left behind?

Palermo is such a nice little place right in the heart of PS. I like it here now that the KIDZZZZZZZ are gone and we have COLT SECURITY. 8>)
In all seriousness this is a good place with it seems like nice people ....... but we need to develop more of a community and have some get togethers. Come on Palermo ...........

We should have had a Christmas or New Years party. Fourth of July anyone?

The kidz aren't gone. Only one on our street, Shady Point, got kicked out, the one who rode the dirt bike around the complex and held loud parties and had people coming and going at all hours. We've live next to that for too long but it's glad he's gone but some of his buddies are still riding around, breaking things, smoking "something."

It was SHADY Point with him around but all those type of issues aren't solved with the eviction.

Colt doesn't do anything about the skateboarders or kids on bikes causing problems. One is at 3574 Penny, smoking, never at school, etc.,using fireworks.

Thank god the one at at 2?8 is gone (thanks VPM is renting to him). Life is good now.

I also heard something kind of snapping sound (fireworks?) this weekend coming from the open garage door around there. Annoying. Another VPM problem?

I rent and had to sign a long document, so I can't understand how some that you are referring to (and yes I too have seen these kids run over plants, go through stop signs, nearly get run over, and worse that I won't write here) were able to get leases.

I have been here a year and noticed that as soon as one bad apple gets evicted theres another one moving in to take their place. Its unfortunate because I was excited about living here when i first moved in, and now realize the management and HOA dont enforce anything. Are they weak or just dont care? I have people park on the street in front of my house and block my garage at least weekly. I dont know why more owners havent short saled since these are worth half of what they paid for them. Instead its a steady flow of low end renters with stickers on the windows and kids while not picking up their dog poo which is constantly being left in my front yard not to mention the oversize work trucks and RV's peppered throughout this community. It adds insult to injury the recent removal of the beautiful palm trees around the neighborhood that were sold for cash and the offensive fire extinguisher installed on my wall without notice. I am leaving this year for greener pastures.

What's up with that kid biking all time, marking skid marks and going through the spot signs and running over plants in the front yards?

Shady Point? I luv it.

I'd like to say in Village Properties' favor that they did recently evict someone in our corner of the woods - a bad loud dirty neighbor.
