Electricity was just restored. Miss Penny Lane says: Now that she can open the freezer again to get ice cubes, it's time for a Cosmo on the rocks. Anyone care to join her?

The paper says 1500 still without power. Glad we are not part of that group!
Same info as 5:42, opened the fridge once and no spoilage. The freezer still had the ice and ice cream that did not melt. I was amazed. I was worried and every time I called Edison I was told the power would be out probably until the next day. Our unit was getting pretty hot so we weren't looking forward to bedtime. Luckily, the power came on long before bed time.
The vibration from the thunder broke the glass in one of my small porthole windows. Can someone recommend a glass repair company they have used and were happy with there service please?
There is one of those windows broken in a condo that faces Indian Canyon - it has been like that for a long time. Shouldn't the HOA monitor that stuff?

How long was the complex without power? We won't be back until next week and was wondering if our food in the refrigerator is ok.
8 hours. My fridge was still cold when I opened after 8 hours and I had opened it once during that time too.

I wonder long term if the HOA could get a generator set up in the club house and have a plan.
