Second bidder for 34 unsold units and Phase 2 land drops out

Positively Palermo has learned that the second bidder for the 34 unsold developer condos and Phase 2 land has dropped out. The bank now owns the units and land after it foreclosed on Ron Shipka's Enterprise Cos. of Chicago. The Hoffman Group real estate brokers is selling the properties in an unified sale. The deadline to bid was May 20. The first bidder dropped out. Now a second has. (The 34 units are being rented out.) Miss Penny Lane says: The third could be the charm.

To 9:06pm - yes it's sad. Guess as current home owners we have to do everything we can to maintain the place and make it as attractive to future developers.

Exactly right. We can start by having dog owners pick up after their pets. This morning (Monday) I saw 7 piles left on the south side of Sandy Point. This time I did not pick them up as I'm getting the impression that the guilty party/parties know someone else will do it for them. Come on people! Let's be adults. Is that too much to ask? What do we need to do now, start a POOP PATROL? GEEZ.

The guy that walks the big dog and small dog together each morning is guilty.....

When is the bank going to fix the leaking water from the servise lateral across from the models? This has been leaking for weeks.

to 1:20pm - if you know the name and/or address of the guy with the two dogs, please email it to Brandi at DRM asking them to remind him about the rules. Thanks.

When is the HOA going to force the City to collect on the bond that was filed with the City by Enterprise. The bond provides a guarantee that the exterior walls and landscaping improvements on the property are finished should the developer default. Since the developer is BK the improvements should be finished by the bonding company. It would improve our development!

My thing is the bank taking care of things like they should. Who is responsible because things are not being taken care of like the trash in the undeveloped part and the greenery. Is Village Property Management and Mike and James Mancini the ones to call for the neglect, or the bank? Mike and Jim say they are in charge so why are they letting things go like this?

Can we hold the bank accountable for all this and the company renting the units out????????
