A reminder that the Palm Springs City Council meeting on the new West Valley campus of College of the Desert is at 6 tonight at City Hall. We're hoping to get a full report and post it soon. In the meantime, here's an ariel shot of the new proposed campus, to be located up a couple of blocks and across Indian Canyon Drive from Palermo Palm Springs. Miss Penny Lane says: She can't wait.

I guess this will be good for property values, but since I hope to never sell, it might be a great wind break?? Not sure if Miss Penny did some magic, but the weather boxes & pictures are all working fine again......& no I am not MAC literate, just an HP with Windows 7.
I am curious as to how they can operate a college when the road is continuously closed for flooding and wind drifts of sand........have yet to hear how that will be addressed as it develops.
The students can shovel the sand for extra credit
