I liked the guy wearing half a speedo at the back pool and his inked buddy. It may have been in the 80s but they hit triple digits!

Please people - this is getting sort of degrading. Prices will plummet here if Palermo becomes the next Warm Sands. There was a lot of hanky panky in the main pool this weekend and it really detracted from the family atmosphere. If this continues I will be writing a letter to Brandi.

All of this talk here is not classy to say the least. This conversation belongs in private or on a chat sight or something. This is far from the atmosphere I expected here. This does not put Palermo in the best light. Seems more like a pig joint than a complex of professionals
Talking about guys at the pool is just fine. Palermo isn't set up as a family resort rental, and it wasn't marketed that way. The facilities weren't built with children in mind at all. To 3:51, write a letter to Brandi Scott, LOL. And family atmosphere, LOL too, you must be a newbie here. Palermo is special because of the diversity of gay men and women and forward-thinking straight people. WE LOVE IT.
If someone buys place here on the cheap, and then does weekend rentals to people with teenagers or younger kids, he's not going to like it if two guys give a smooch in the hot tub - just another example of how the illegal short term rental situation and the behind it are trying to change our lovely community. So someone rents to people with kids for a weekend or week and the permanent residents are supposed to change. Forget it. We're not going to be in the closet in our own community so you can make a buck off rentals that violate the CCR's and Palm Springs law. Nuf said.
Reminds me of a song from the 60's by Tommy James and the Shondells " My baby does the hanky panky". Guess there is nothing new about hanky panky. Get over your self !
hmmm... just curiuos, but a straight couple in the hot tub... I just bet THAT would be okay. The 'double standard' in our society.
Penny, can we have our blog back? It seems there are a handful of people on here bickering over personal issues. Give it a rest people. It is detracting from the harmony of the community.
11:30- there is nothing wrong with doing the "Hanky Panky" (we are both here because of it!) but there is a time and a place for it. A couple was arrested at USC recently for doing it in full view on top of a dorm building.
You can chalk this uproar to the short term rental owners who rent to families with kids for a week and then don't like it when the short term tenants complain about two sweeties in the spa. This gay family isn't going to change so some one as was said who doesn't live here get make a buck on short rents. Palermo in terms of residents living here and in terms of ownership in one of the most gay condo developments of its size in Palm Springs. And it was advertised in the gay publications as those of us owners for numerous remember.

The Sandy Point rental has caused some weirdness
Someone on here is this blog is curiously obsessed with their neighbor buying a unit for a lower price than they did and making money by renting it out. Time to get over it... life is short.
Palermo is quite the gay family place cuz after all Barry Manilow bought a new place at opening for his ex!
To 3:40, No, I think issue for us is that people just bought and them immediately decided to break the HOA's cc&r's about not under 30 days rentals and that such rentals also require a city permit, paying taxes and providing a 24 hour call number with some required to respond in 45 minutes. So don't tell us to get over it because someone here for just months thinks they can break the HOA and Palm Springs rules. It is time to start the fines.
