No mistake, Penny...You weren't invited. Enjoy.
I would have invited you Penny my girl.
Well, why don't we plan a little get-together of our own? We would love to see our Palermo friends and meet new neighbors. We will be in Palm Springs next weekend. What do you think?
Holiday social?
Major parking problems because of the party. The person having it did not direct them to park on the QS - where there was plenty of room for everyone.
Yes parking problems indeed. Do the rules state that they have to park on Quiet Side? I havent pulled mine out recently. If they don't maybe we should ask that it go before the Board to have them altered to force the party host to make the guests park on Quiet Side...just a suggestion.
At least someone is using the clubhouse for something fun! Glad they had the party. Maybe when making reservations for a party, parking rules should be reiterated. Anyway, it was nice to come home after the Christmas Parade to see such festivity here at Palermo. And I'm all for a community party sometime. Any suggestions for a date?
I don't know who had that party but they parks dozens of cars on both sides of the road to the San Rafael gate and kicked up tons of rocks. I ran over a bigger one and got a flat tire. I know I should have seen it but it was dark. I went out and kicked the rocks back in their piles today. Can the HOA reimburse me for part of the new tire from the security deposit? Sorry to rain on anyone's parade but this was upsetting to me. Also, thanks to Penny for this blog - it is one reason we found Palermo and bought here.
@ 7:27 You should contact the HOA and not a rouge blog for a start
To 1050, LMAO, u r writing on the blog yourself. Too funny.
She must be one who ilikes to criticize people who post here but she is doing it herself by posting criticism of others on here. Can say you say, hypocritical?
Happy Holidays to everyone at Palermo!
Often wondered how the tone of contributions on this blog would change if the rules of the blog were changed. let anyone view the blog. prohibit anonymous postings. only residents or owners of palermo units could post, but first they would have to register with the blog and prove their residency / owner status. all posts would identify the author. This would completely change the nature/role of the blog. I think it could be for the better, though others may disagree. Comments?
As far as the security concern here I had tried to start up a Neighborhood watch some time ago. I was doing fine except the most of the ones that had shown an interest were the people that had not lived here. I think people were just leery and very busy at the time. Anyway the point is, does anyone here think we should get the watch started again? I think it would stop most problems like the security issue here.
To the 5:00 post. I don't think the other person had meant to criticze. When it comes to the post I like to give statements the benefit of the doubt. Just makes for a more enjoyable experience on the sight here
To 633, I notice that you did not sign your post and kept it anonymous.
If you don't like our comments here just don't read the comments or the blog. Nuf said.
@ 4:37 I love this blog but I think you missed my point so I shall elaborate for you.
The poster isnt getting anywhere by posting on the rouge blog, if they want a response from the Board of Management they need to contact Management or go to the HOA website and submit the question.
The blog is great. Brandi should be required by the board to read it and respond.
@ 3:56 I dont think so :-)
