Men with clipboards
Positively Palermo has received information about official-looking men carrying clipboards walking around the community. In the past, this has indicated possible buyers for the unsold 34 condos, five model units and undeveloped land in Phase 2 of Palermo Palm Springs. We understand that two bidders have backed out to date. One concern being discussed in the community is that, have any of these bidders backed out in any way possibly because of any management filings with state real estate officials or other different reasons involving the unfinished project? We also have word that the green fencing around the undeveloped phase was being looked at recently. Our understanding is that the bank pays about $300 a month for the fence. Miss Penny Lane says: If any mens with a clipboard walk by her place, she's offer them a Cosmo and say "cheers to the holidays."

I would like to know how much total the HOA has spent on legal another costs, time, on this thing with Enterprise/the bank/whoever, and whether it has hurt the sale or not? Wo is looking after our money?
From my understanding it is much harder to get financing now because of the Enterprise bankruptcy - this is likely the reason prices have dropped so much recently.
I hope the men with clipboards liked the beautiful holiday decorations. Miss Penny, you should invite them in for some egg nog!
To 1:42, you are incorrect about that.
Penny, merry Christmas for what you do for Palermo. I found this blog site and it sealed the deal for us to buy here because of the sense of community and care of the people. This is wonderful place. So thanks to Penny and happy holidays.
Did I here eggnog? I took my own walk the other night. Great. But maybe we can arrange for everyone to have all their lights on on one night to get the full effect? Also thanks Penny for your work.
Did anyone ask the board about the men with clipboards?
Unfortunately, there seems to be just one board member who consistently answers his e-mails. So glad there will be a "changing of the guard" on the board.
I don't understand what this is all about at all. You are probably referring to the Landscape Commission of Palermo residents who walk and inspect the property to try to insure that the landscapers is doing his job which is a hard task if you have ever dealt with such a thing.
We have met the Landscape Committee, a great group of folks!
The Landscape Cte. has done a good job with what it has to work with vis a vis the landscape service that is lacking. Imagine what the place would look like if we did not have the cte. to watchdog.
I agree. The landscape committee is a good thing. It is to their credit that things are looking better. It's just a shame that our landscaper refuses to pick up garbage or other refuse. If i were landscaping a property my pride would not let me leave behind trash and excrement and think my job was done.
To 938, here here.
