College of the Desert shows off 'conceptual' designs for new campus

The College of the Desert showed off some "conceptual" designs for the new West Valley campus to be built a block or so from Palermo Palm Springs. Construction will begin in 2012 with the first classes in 2014. Miss Penny Lane says: Sign her up!

Thanks Penny, this is great!
Hopefully this will expedite the clean up of Indian Canyon/San Rafael. The corner including Julian Market and the auto repair shop looks like a junk yard.
Sorry to post something off topic but did you all see the story in today's paper about Rene, or Rochasta Jones and Michelle Neely, aka Micah. Rene is being sentenced today for stabbing Micah in a domestic fight.
