The seven floor plans of Palermo Palm Springs: The one-bedroom E model

Palermo Palm Springs has seven floor plans. We have already posted six of them. Today we're posting the last remaining one, the one-bedroom E model. Palermo has five model plans with two bedrooms and two plans with one bedroom. Go to the archives on the left-hand column of this page to find the floor plans already added. Model A was posted on Sept. 16, 2010. Model B was Sept. 28, 2010. Model C was Nov. 22, 2010. Model D was Oct. 15, 2010. Model G was Sept. 19, 2010. Model F was April 1, 2011. Today, we are looking at the one-bedroom E model villas — the smallest of the condos. It is 831 square feet, or 105 square feet smaller that the one-bedroom F model villas. The E models feature one bedroom, office area, one bath, private front yard and carport. (Key differences between the E model and the bigger F model include: The E model has one bathroom rather than 1.5 baths, the rooms are smaller, the only bathroom is off the office area not connected to the bedroom. The F model has a walk-through closet that leads to full bathroom as well as a half bath off the office.) There are 16 Model E units at Palermo, on Sunburst Blvd., Quiet Side Street and Foothill Avenue. They are at: 3596 Sunburst (#189), 3606 Sunburst (#192), 3616 Sunburst (#193), 3626 Sunburst (#196), 3676 Sunburst (#205), 3686 Sunburst (#208), 3568 Quiet Side (#181), 3578 Quiet Side, (#183), 3597 Quiet Side (#191), 3607 Quiet Side (#194), 3617 Quiet Side (#195), 3627 Quiet Side (#198), 3677 Quiet Side (#207), 3687 Quiet Side (#210), 3528 Foothill (#182), and 3538 Foothill (#180. Miss Penny Lane says: The E must stand for easy to care for.

Palermo has so many great designs and floor plans. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, investors will see what a gem it is.

Unfortunately Palermo is not "investment friendly". Too many rules and regulations on rentals between the city of Palm Springs and the Palermo HOA. Prices will continue to drop despite the college. In a year or so A units should be down to about $120-$130K. Maybe then I will buy one.

Sounds like 3:01 already owns one and is angry about not being able to do short term rentals. It's not a Palermo unfriendly investor policy. It is quite standard for most HOAs in Palm Springs and of course the city regs apply city-wide. In fact, many housing complexes allow nothing shorter than a one year rental. It is pretty simple to see why. Long term owners and residents will care for their property much more than a group coming in to party for the weekend with no regard for neighbors or the neighborhood. But what does this have to do with floor plans anyway?

To 744, LOL. and to 301, yes please do buy elsewhere. We don't need people with that kind of attitude here. You would not fit in at our cool Palermo. Please consider other options.
