Wind advisories in effect. Tree is uprooted at Palermo Palm Springs

There are  high wind advisories in place tonight in Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties. Indian Canyon Drive between Palermo and the 10 is still closed. A metal pole in the median of Indian Canyon and San Rafael was blown down. At Palermo, a tree was uprooted and is falling down on the south side of Sandy Point Trail. (Thanks to the resident for the picture.) Miss Penny Lane says: She's prepared if the power goes out tonight because she has a stockpile jasmine-and-honey scented soy candles on hand. She makes them herself.
