'Greening' of Palermo

Out-of-town owners may be interested in seeing the "back lot" after the dust-control application was applied this week. Miss Penny Lane asks: Where will all the boys and their doggies go now that this green stuff has been sprayed all about?

Poppies yes Poppies will make them sleep!

Actually poppies would be rather pretty. They'd hold the dust down and look rather festive! If only they grew in sand...

Something better than a green spray could/should have been done. Maybe the HOA could do a bit of landscaping between us and the vacant lot. Something, festive - yes yes.

Hey Everyone, its me Perry. I like the festive Idea. Maybe we can ask the Board if they can set some money aside for a project like this. We could all get to gether when it gets cooler and get our hands a little dirty and do the planting our self, would save us a ton of money and give us the oppertunity to enjoy a little bit of nature. I LOVE flowers! What do you think?

It wold be great if we could do even a little to spruce this up. The people on Foothill also deserve better than looking at a green temp fence. Put up a wall with some landscaping. There is irrigation there because behind the fence water has come up and the developer hooked up a sprinkler before to water down the area, so there is the infrastructure to easily put in a small drip system. Drought-tolerant plants would be cheap and easy to put in. Let's do it!

Hey Everyone, it's me Perry. Ok, we know we have a few people interested in getting this started. The problem is since this is all anonymous I don't know who to get together with :) Maybe you can post your email or write me at pstamas@live.com and we coudl talk about it. I will be at the HOA meeting maybe we can catch up with eachoter from there. This sounds fun. I have had a garden everwhere I lived, this was the first place I did not have room to start something. I find it very calming for the nerves :)

Miss Penny Lane for HOA Board! Rather than hide behind your anonymous website, why don't you really make a difference and step out of the shadows?

Is the above 11:11 a.m. posting from a board member? Anyhoo, the person complaining about the anonymous website is them self being anonymous. Double LOL. And it is our Penney who is the one who really has made a difference. Picking on Penney isn't going to get you anywhere. Besides the current board doesn't seem to want more members.
